DEVOTIONAL
Life often presents us with challenges that make us feel inadequate, weak, or unprepared. In those moments, it is vital to remember that God is our source and sufficiency. He provides all we need to fulfill His purposes and to thrive in every area of life.
Paul’s word in the scripture text (2 Corinthians 3:5), reminds us that we cannot rely on our own strength, wisdom, or resources.
Our sufficiency is not found in what we possess or who we are but in God alone. He is the ultimate provider, sustainer, and enabler.
God’s sufficiency extends to every part of our lives. He supplies our physical needs, as Philippians 4:19 assures us: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Beyond material provisions, He also strengthens us spiritually and emotionally, equipping us to face life’s difficulties. When you trust God as your source, you begin to experience His abundant grace. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 declares: “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
In our moments of weakness, God’s strength shines brightest, proving that He is all we need. This means that living with the understanding that God is your source transforms your perspective. You will no longer rely on your own efforts or worry about your limitations.
Instead, you simply lean on Him, trusting in His faithfulness to provide and sustain you.
