DEVOTIONAL
There is a difference between reading the Word and seeing through the Word. You can read Scripture every morning and still think like the world. You can know verses about faith, prosperity, purpose, righteousness, and victory, yet remain trapped in fear, limitation, comparison, and self-preservation.
The purpose of God's Word is not merely to put information in your head; it is to open your mind to God's reality. When the Word reveals God's will, your perspective begins to change. Jesus did not come merely to improve people's earthly lives; He came announcing another government—the Kingdom of God. His message was, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17).

Kingdom mindset means learning to see life from God's perspective. Where the world sees scarcity, faith sees God's provision. Where the world sees an ending, God sees an opportunity. Where the world says, “Protect yourself at all costs,” the Kingdom teaches, “Seek first the Kingdom.” Your circumstances may remain the same for a season, but when your perspective changes, you begin responding differently to those circumstances.
Think about a farmer carrying a bag of seeds. Someone who does not understand farming may see only a handful of seeds being buried in the ground and think the farmer is wasting something valuable. But the farmer sees beyond the soil. He sees a harvest. That is what Kingdom thinking does. It teaches you to see what God sees. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Transformation begins when God's thoughts become more authoritative to you than the opinions of your environment.

You cannot change your life until you change something you do daily.
The Kingdom mindset therefore must become a daily discipline. Ask yourself when you read Scripture: What is God showing me? What does He want me to believe? How should I live because of this truth?

Don't close your Bible merely knowing what the verse says; close it knowing how the verse should change you. Colossians 3:2 says, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” As your mind gets continually exposed to God's Word, your desires, decisions, priorities, and expectations begin to come under Kingdom influence.
Beloved, God has not called you to live by the limitations of the world's system. You are a citizen of another Kingdom. Let Scripture educate your imagination. Let God's wisdom shape your decisions. Allow His values become your values —When you begin to see from God's perspective, you will begin to live from a higher reality.

Father, IJN: Renew my mind through Your Word and deliver me from every mindset that contradicts Your truth. Let me see as You see.
Father, IJN: Teach me to seek Your Kingdom first. Let Your values govern my decisions, priorities, relationships, and ambitions.
Father, IJN: Open my understanding to know Your will and give me grace to live out what You reveal. Let my life reflect Your Kingdom. Amen.

Before going through your normal activities today, spend 15 minutes with one Scripture passage. Ask: “What does this reveal about God's perspective, and how should I respond differently today?” Write down one Kingdom-minded action and practice it.
When your mind is renewed by the Word, your life begins to reflect the reality of the Kingdom.
