DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, awaken to this eternal truth: you are not ordinary, you are royalty. The Word of God is not a suggestion; it is God’s final authority. The Bible declares in Psalm 119:89 (KJV), “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” This means what God has said concerning you is already established, and it cannot be broken, altered, or reversed.

The problem with many believers today is not that God has not spoken, but that they have not believed what He has said. You are not trying to become a king; you are already made a king and a priest in Christ. At new birth, your identity changed. You were translated from darkness into light, from slavery into dominion.

The Scripture says in John 1:12 (KJV), “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God…” That power is not just to exist — it is to reign.

There is a story of a young man who grew up in poverty, struggling daily just to survive. Unknown to him, he had been adopted into a royal family as a child, but he never discovered his identity. He lived like a beggar, thinking lack was his portion. One day, a legal document was presented to him proving his royal heritage. In that moment, everything changed — not because something new was given to him, but because he discovered what already belonged to him.

Beloved, this is the story of many believers. You are living below your divine inheritance because you have not fully embraced your identity in Christ.

The words Dr. Myles Munroe,

You cannot reign in life until you know who you are in Christ.
The Bible says in Romans 5:17 (KJV), “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Notice, it didn’t say you will reign later; it says you shall reign in life. Right here, right now. You are called to reign over sin, over fear, over limitations, and over every work of darkness

You are the light in a dark world, and the answer to the confusion in your generation. You are not meant to be dominated by circumstances — you are designed to dominate them by the authority of Christ in you.

The Bible also declares in Isaiah 60:1–3 (KJV), “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee… And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

This is your calling; to rise, to shine, and to reign.

Beloved, stop thinking small. Stop living beneath your inheritance. You are born of God, and everything that pertains to life and godliness has been made available to you.

You are not a victim, you are a victor. You are not a survivor, you are a ruler in Christ.

POINTS OF REFLECTION

1. Are you actively seeking the hidden riches God has stored for you?

2. Do you rely on God’s Spirit to lead your financial and life decisions?

3. Are you digging in the Word daily or expecting treasure without labor?

PRAYER KEY POINTS

Father, IJN: Thank You for Your provision and for giving me the ability to prosper.

Father, IJN: I ask that you always help me to remember that all I have comes from You. Please Lord, guard my heart against pride and self-reliance, and teach me to use what I have for Your Kingdom.

Father, IJN: Let my life and resources which I have received from above, always bring honor to you and be used to further your purposes in this world.
