Scripture Text: “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” - 1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV)
Dearly Beloved, here is a caution to everyone called by the name of the LORD - do not forsake divine wisdom for the wisdom of this world. The wisdom of this world is deceptive; it puffs up the mind but starves the spirit. It teaches man to depend on intellect instead of revelation. It promises success but robs one of the true inheritance that is eternal.
The Bible says in Proverbs 4:7 (KJV), “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
Yet, this wisdom is not the product of books or experience, it is the life of God Himself. According to the Word, God is not wise; God is Wisdom. He doesn’t try to be wise, He is the embodiment and source of all true wisdom.
When we say God is wise, we speak from a human perspective, as though wisdom were an attribute. But the truth is deeper: God does not possess wisdom, He is Wisdom personified. Just as the Scripture says “God is Love” (1 John 4:8), so also, God is Wisdom, and every expression of true wisdom originates from Him.
When Jesus came to the world, He came as the visible expression of this divine wisdom. He wasn’t merely a wise teacher - He was Wisdom walking in flesh. The Bible says in Colossians 2:3 (KJV), “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
He spoke and acted from a dimension beyond the reach of human reasoning. Whether in healing the sick, calming the storm, or confounding the Pharisees, Jesus manifested divine intelligence that silenced the wisdom of this world.
The Words of Kenneth E. Hagin,
The wisdom of God is not learned, it is imparted by the Spirit.
The book of James divides wisdom into two realms - the earthly, sensual, and devilish (James 3:15), and the wisdom that is from above (James 3:17).
The first exalts self, the second glorifies God. The first depends on the mind, but the second flows from the Spirit. When we are born again, we receive the Spirit of Wisdom within us, not as something apart from God, but as the very expression of His divine life.
Beloved, never underestimate what God has deposited in you. The wisdom of God in you is not a feeling; it’s a life, a force, a nature. You are not to live by guesses or confusion - you have the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Learn to walk in the awareness that divine wisdom dwells in your spirit.
Moreover, as you yield to the Holy Ghost, you access dimensions of wisdom that confound the wise of this world. You begin to operate from the Kingdom realm, where decisions are Spirit-led, and outcomes glorify God.
Therefore, let this truth sink deeply: God is not wise — God is Wisdom, and that Wisdom now lives in you!
POINTS OF REFLECTION
1. Are you walking daily in the consciousness that God’s wisdom resides within you?
2. Do you still depend on worldly reasoning more than divine revelation?
3. Are your thoughts and choices guided by the Word, or by the wisdom of men?
PRAYER KEY POINTS

Father, IJN: Teach me to depend on Your wisdom in every decision I make. Let my life reflect Your ways and not the wisdom of the world.
