Welcome to THE LIVING BREAD .

God's ultimate longing is that His children should live in a healthy state, spirit, soul, and body.  Even though emotional wounds have been found to be a universal aspect of the human experience.

Whichever way it might have come, whether caused by past trauma, relational conflicts, or personal struggles.

These wounds can leave us feeling broken, vulnerable, and in need of healing.

Gratefully, as believers in Christ, we have been granted access to the source of healing that goes beyond temporary relief— which is God's transforming power that heals the brokenhearted.

In the scripture text (Psalm 147:3,) we are reminded of God's tender care for those who are brokenhearted.

The reason is that our Heavenly Father is not indifferent to our pains; rather, He is intimately acquainted with our sorrows and stands willing to bring healing and restoration to every wounded soul.

However, just as a skilled physician attends to physical wounds with care and precision. In the same manner, God also heals our emotional wounds with love and compassion, by gently binding up the broken pieces of our hearts.

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." - Psalms 51:17

But what does emotional healing look like, and how can the believers experience it in their lives?

Here are a few important  principles to consider:

1. You Should  Acknowledge Your Pain

This is the first step toward your healing which is acknowledging the presence of your emotional problem.

It is okay for you to admit that you are hurt, and to express your emotions honestly before God. He has often asked us to come to Him with all of our burdens because He cares for us.  "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."  - 1 Peter 5:7

2. Seek God's Presence

You should acknowledge that healing begins in the presence of God.

So, learn to spend time talking to your maker in prayer, meditation, and Scripture reading, allowing God's Word to penetrate your heart, to bring you comfort and peace.

Request for the Holy Spirit to minister to you and to reveal any areas of your life in need of healing.

This Bible says, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7

3. Extend Forgiveness

To live in unforgiveness and bitterness can hinder your healing process.

Therefore, choose to forgive those who have hurt you, releasing them from the debt they owe you and entrusting justice to God.

"And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses." - Mark 11:25

Consequently, as you allow grace and forgiveness in your heart, you free yourself from the bondage of resentment and open the door to healing.

4. Embrace Your  Community

Relationships are a vital aspect of our lives because healing often takes place in the context of community.

That is why you should Surround yourself with supportive friends, family members, or mentors who can offer you love, encouragement, and accountability.

You should not hesitate to seek professional counseling or therapy if needed. Trained professionals can provide you additional support and guidance.

"is there no balm in gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?" - Jeremiah 8:22

5. Practice Self-Compassion

Be gentle with yourself as you go through your healing journey. permit yourself to grieve, to feel, and to process your emotions at your own pace.

Understand that healing is a process and that it's okay to seek help and support along the way.

Ultimately, to receive true emotional healing. It begins primarily with surrendering your brokenness to God, then allowing Him to work in, and through you.

According to God's word, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." -:Philippians 2:13

He is your greatest healer—the only one who can turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy, "Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness"- Psalms 30:11

So, as we entrust our hearts to Him and walk in obedience to His Word. He will lead us on the path of wholeness and restoration. Enabling us to experience the fullness of life that He has promised.

Beloved! I encourage you to take some time to pray. Inviting God to bring healing to any areas of emotional pain or brokenness in your life.

Have trust in His faithfulness and His promise to heal your brokenheart.

Knowing that He is with you every step of the way, guiding you toward wholeness and the freedom in Him.
