The Spirit At Work Within You.

 Scripture Text: “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” - Philippians 2:13

Everyone born of God at this point should have known that we don't belong here. That we are sojourners on this side of eternity.

Even though in our journey of faith, we often find ourselves grappling with questions of purpose, significance, and the path ahead. 

In such moments of our lives, it's important to remember this vital scriptural truth: the Spirit of God is at work within each of us. 

In the scripture text of today's devotional, the apostle Paul's, letter to the Philippians, affirms this reality in Philippians 2:13.

Where he declares to them that it is God who is always working within us, and how he does this by eternally shaping our desires and actions to enable us to fulfill His good purpose for our lives. 

The Bible says, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." - Psalms 32:8 

That is why, I believe Knowing this should not only awaken us as believers, but draw us more closer to God, and fill us with praise in our hearts.

Let's consider this for a moment, how wonderful it is, that the supreme being the creator of the universe been intimately involved in the circumstances of our lives. 

This means that the same Spirit that breathed life into creation is now at work within us, thereby directing our steps and guiding all of our decisions.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." - Romans 8:14 

God wants to lead His children, in this world. Because He doesn't want any to be lost. 

It is important to acknowledge that this is a divine collaboration, where your willingness meets God's transformative power.

This truth carries a deep implication for our daily lives.  Consequently, It means that every challenge, victory, and decision is an opportunity for the Spirit within us to manifest God's purposes. 

That means as we consistently yield to  God's leading, our lives are decorated and painted with God's ultimate purpose for our lives.

Beloved! Holding firmly unto this reality of the Spirit at work within you, requires an attitude of surrender and trust. 

It entails acknowledging your limitations and entrusting your dreams, ambitions, and even your struggles into the hands of the One who knows you intimately. 

It is by doing so, that you invite the Spirit to shape your will, aligning it with God's perfect plan.

So, as we go on with our lives, whether in the workplace, in relationships, or our quiet moments of reflection, we should intentionally pause and recognize the Spirit's presence. 

Beloved! Today, as you go through the aisle of life, always remember that you are not alone or by yourself, and that the Spirit at work within you is a constant companion, that empowers you to live a life that fulfills God's good purpose. 

PRAYER KEY POINTS 

Father, IJN: Thank you for your unfailing love toward me, and for your indwelling guidance and leading that keeps me in you.

Father, IJN: Fill me continuously with your Spirit of faith that works by love, so that I will always walk in your path and love towards others.

Father, IJN: I resist every spirit of manipulation, the spirit of the world, and that of the deceiver, so that I will keep following in your way.

The Word of God is life and Spirit. So read and meditate on the word. What food is to your body the word of God is to your spirit. feed on the word always.

Also, embrace the journey of life with confidence, knowing that the Creator's hand is completely in control of all you do, in order to lead you to a glorious end.
