Scripture Text: "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." - Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

We are grateful to the Father for another winning day. A day to rejoice and be glad in.

Today we will talk about a very important topic: CREATED FOR GOD'S PLEASURE!

Now, I want to ask, have you ever  at any time pondered the purpose of your existence? Or have you ever wondered why you were created?

Although, the Bible tells us that we were created for God's pleasure. But then what does it actually mean?

At first look, the idea of being created for God's pleasure might seem too straightforward. Because we may feel that it means just living a life that brings joy and delight to God.

But as we take a deeper view into this vital truth, we may find ourselves feeling stunned and skeptical.

So, what is it about us, that the Almighty God - Creator of the universe would find pleasure in us, mere mortals?

The Scripture text (Revelation 4:11) "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

How do our feeble efforts and flawed lives possibly bring delight to the One who is perfect in every way?

These questions and more should spring up in your mind whenever you hear such a Word.

However, as we tackle these questions, it is natural that we may feel a sense of confusion and inadequacy. You might start to wonder if  truly you are capable of fulfilling this high purpose.

In some cases, you may even question whether God's pleasure in us is conditional upon your performance and behavior.

In all these, even amidst our confusion, it is comforting to find  the truth, that God's pleasure in us is not dependent on our own merits, and It is not even  about achieving perfection or earning His favor through our actions. "But by the grace of God I am what I am:" -1 Corinthians 15:10a

Rather, Our Father's pleasure is particularly about surrendering to His love and allowing His grace to transform us from the inside out.

I know you  may not fully comprehend the depths of God's pleasure in us, but you should be rest assured that it is rooted in His unconditional love and grace toward all of His offspring.

Consequently, as we seek to live our lives in ways that honor and glorify Him, we must also trust that He takes pleasure in us simply because we are His creation - no matter how flawed and imperfect  we may be. "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour." -John 12:26

Beloved! Today, you are administered to grasp this mystery of being created for God's pleasure, even in the course of your confusion and doubt.

You learn to draw near to God, with an open heart, trusting that His love for you knows no bounds.

I pray  as you do, that you will find peace in knowing that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, destined to bring joy to the heart of your Creator.
