THE WEALTHY and successful people in the world did not just arrive there, one unique attitude they have is preparation.
They prepare for tomorrow, while the rest of us prepare for today.
Even Christ cautions us not to be absent-minded of the future, but rather be prepared and be ready for the unforeseen,
Matth.24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the son of man cometh.”
Jesus prepared for ministry, Paul was an ardent reader, and reading was his recommendation to young Timothy, Daniel read even though he was full of wisdom, yet, he still read, and consulted the the Book of the law. You must prepare and grow if you really want to be outstandingly successful in life.
One evening in 1955, a young Psychologist was lying in her bed, suddenly there was a crash and a Cadillac plowed right into the room. She wasn’t hurt but the occurrence revolutionized her thinking forever, from that moment on. She knew she wanted and would own a Cadillac of her own.
But she was not sure how to make that happen. She sat in her living room and watched the game show; The 64,000$ Question.
Suddenly she knew where to get her Cadillac, she did not want the money, she had a goal and that was to get her Cadillac. But while watching she discovered that all the contestants had unusual knowledge about a subject that did not fit them.
There was a marine who knew everything about the Ballet, and there was a Shoemaker who was a gourmet chef.
She knew nothing about a subject that did not fit into her lifestyle. She knew she was a young pretty, Psychologist but she needed to stand out in order to make it on the show.
So, she chose Boxing. She spent every extra minute learning as much as possible about Boxing. She knew who was the champion in every weight class for every year for the last fifty years. She knew the statistic for every Boxer that was top-ranked for the last fifty years. She became an expert in boxing.
There is no limit to what you can do in God, your mind is the only limit, “If you believe then you can become it” If only you can give it time, no wonder Paul said, “I can do all things, through him that strengthens me” Philippians 2:13.
To continue with the story; she decided to put in her application to the 64,000$ Question show, and she was chosen, once on the show, she kept winning week after week until she won her Cadillac.
But she didn’t stop there, once she owned the Cadillac, she went ahead and answered the 64,000$ Question, and with the publicity she received, she was given her own show, her name is Dr. Joyce Brothers and that is how she got to where she is today.
Her level of preparation changed along with her thinking and that catapulted her to the next level. Whatever you hope to become you should make time to prepare for it.
We are transformed by the renewing of our minds, (Romans.12:2) and there is nothing as impossibility when God is by your side, "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." - Mark 10:27

The scripture text says, “prepare thy work without”, meaning you have to give time and commitment to what you want to do and do it with diligence, do the planning, purchase the field, put it in order, and make available the needful afterwards, build your house.
