All Things Are Yours!

Scripture Text: "Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's." - 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 (KJV

In the above scripture verses, the Apostle Paul is addressing the church in Corinth, he is reminding them of the incredible inheritance they have in Christ.

So, he encouraged them not to boast about mere human leaders, because they belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

Here, Paul emphasizes an important truth: as believers, all things are ours through Christ.

"All things are yours."

What a remarkable declaration! This particular remark refers to the entirety of existence.

Whether they are apostles, like Paul, Apollos, or Cephas, even the world itself, life, death, the present, or the future, everything belongs to those who are in Christ.

The truth is, God's will for us, is not limited to just mere material possessions, but it extends to all spiritual blessings, promises, and the richness of God's grace.

"Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing." - Revelation 5:12

What does it mean for all things to be yours in Christ?

It entails that you now have access to God's abundant provision and care. It is saying you should approach every situation with confidence, and the understanding that you are heirs of God's promises.

Hebrews 4:16 says,  "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

This statement suggests that we are not limited by our circumstances but that we are empowered by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

Yet, amidst the vastness of this inheritance, there is a crucial reminder:

 "ye are Christ's."

ownership of all things is not independent of Christ; rather, it is rooted in our union with Him. Every believer belongs to Him, and He is our Lord and Savior.

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." - Galatians 3:26-27

Therefore, as stewards of His numerous blessings, each of us is called to walk in obedience, humility, and love.

In times of abundance, let us remember that all we possess is a gift from God. Let us use it wisely for His glory and the advancement of His kingdom.

In times of scarcity, we have to trust in God's provision, knowing that He who owns all things is faithful to supply our needs according to His riches in glory.

Beloved! As you continue to ponder on this truth, I pray that it deepens your gratitude to God, strengthens your faith, and compels you to live a life that honors Him in every aspect.

I pray that you continue to rejoice in the boundless riches of your inheritance in Christ and walk boldly in the confidence of who you are in Him.
