It's obvious that we live in a world that measures success by material wealth and personal accomplishment.
But the Lord in his Word calls us to a higher priority - seeking the Kingdom of God.
Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:33 reminds us that true profit comes not from earthly gains but from dedicating our lives to the work of God’s Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the Kingdom business is about advancing God’s purposes on earth.
This involves sharing the Gospel, living righteously, serving others, and using your gifts and resources to glorify God.
Unlike worldly pursuits, the profits of Kingdom business are eternal.
As Jesus expressly stated in Matthew 6:20: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.”
When we prioritize Kingdom work, God promises to meet our earthly needs.
This doesn’t mean you neglect your responsibilities or stop striving for excellence in your careers or studies.
Instead, it means aligning all we do with God’s will, trusting Him to provide as we focus on His agenda.
The ultimate profit of Kingdom business is the joy of knowing that we are part of God’s eternal plan.
In John 15:16, Jesus said: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.”
The fruit we bear for God’s Kingdom impacts lives for eternity and brings glory to His name.
Engaging in Kingdom business may not always bring immediate rewards, but it offers the most profound and lasting profit.
When you faithfully serve God and invest in His work, you store up treasures that can never fade.
The Bible speaking in Job 36:11 says, "If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures."
