Wisdom For Dominion!

Scripture Text: “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” – Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)

God has called us, His children to walk in dominion, authority, and influence on the earth. This order of dominion is not achieved through physical strength or worldly power, but, it is by inspired knowledge, through divine wisdom.

Wisdom is the foundation for ruling and reigning effectively in life, as it aligns us with God’s will and purpose.

The scripture text (Proverbs 4:7) reminds us, that, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding."

In the beginning, God gave humanity dominion over creation (Genesis 1:26). However, true dominion requires wisdom - the ability to discern, make right decisions, and act according to God’s principles.

King Solomon understood this when he prayed for wisdom instead of riches or power. God honored his request, and Solomon’s wisdom brought prosperity, peace, and influence to his kingdom (1 Kings 3:9-12).

Proverbs 8:15-16 reveals that wisdom is essential for leadership and dominion: “By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.”

The God kind of Wisdom enables us to govern effectively, whether in our personal lives, families, workplaces, or communities.

Meanwhile, James 1:5 offers encouragement for anyone seeking wisdom: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

We must understand that God is the source of true Wisdom, and He is willing to give it generously to those who ask in faith.

But the Wisdom For Dominion, would require that we:

1. Seek Out Of God’s Word

The Bible is God's wisdom in scripts, or God's wisdom bank, providing guidance and kingdom principles for every area of our life (Joshua 1:8).

2. Be Led By The Spirit

The Holy Spirit teaches and reveals the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10).

3. Apply Wisdom Practically

Wisdom is not just knowledge but the ability to apply it in real-life situations for godly results (Matthew 7:24).

Beloved! Divine wisdom is God's power for our good and glory to his name;

With it we can overcome all challenges of life, make sound decisions, and fulfill our God-given mandate both to influence and impact the world for His glory.

1. Are there areas in your life where you need divine wisdom to take dominion?

2. How can you seek and apply God’s wisdom daily in your decisions and actions?

3. In what ways can you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into greater understanding and dominion?

COMMIT TO MEMORY

"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict." -Luke 21:15

PRAYER POINTS

Father, IJN: I ask for Your wisdom to guide me in every area of my life. Teach me to walk in dominion according to Your will.

Father, IJN: Enable me to always apply the principles of Your Word and live a life that reflects Your wisdom and authority.

Father, IJN: Let the Holy Spirit, continue to lead me into all truth and empower me with wisdom to make decisions that honor You and fulfill my purpose.

ASSIGNMENT

Continue to seek God’s word and apply it in your life, if you truly desire to walk in the authority and influence He has destined for you.

Allow God's Wisdom (The Word of God is His Wisdom in Scripts) to guide your steps as you fulfill your Kingdom purpose.
