As believers, we live in a world that is full of pressure, uncertainties, and challenges.
In such a world, we do not have power or control over the things that happen to us, but we surrender our trust in God believing Him for the best in life.
Surrendering to God is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our belief in His divine plan.
In the scripture text( Proverbs 3:5-6) we have been reminded to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly and to lean not on our understanding.
This call to surrender is a bid to release our grip on control and place our confidence in God's wisdom and guidance.
The Bible says, "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed." - Psalms 34:5
Even though as people, we often strive to be independent, and self-reliant.
The truth remains that, true strength lies in relinquishing all our desires, fears, and plans to our Father and Creator who knows us privately.
Listen to this, "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." -Psalms 37:4
Also, you should know that Surrendering to God is an act of humility, that is acknowledging that you are limited in your understanding, while God's knowledge surpasses all.
In the scriptures, we learned how Jesus exemplified surrender in the Garden of Gethsemane when he was faced with the impending crucifixion.
He prayed "Saying, Father, if .thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." -Luke 22:42 (KJV).
Jesus' surrender paved the way for God's ultimate plan of salvation. Praise God!
In the same way, your surrendering to God is an ongoing process, and it comprises yielding not just your desires, but your worries, and decisions to Him every day.
In doing so, you allow God to guide your steps and shape your paths according to His divine purpose.
To surrender also is an act of worship, and declaring that God's ways are higher than your ways.
Beloved, Today, surrender all your worries and fears to God and let Him take over the driver's seat of your life.
