Scripture Text: "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." - Matthew 6:19-21 (KJV)

Life on earth is a vapor - here today and gone tomorrow (James 4:14).
In a fast paced world where chasing fame, fortune, and momentary pleasures abounds, God calls His children to live for something eternal; to live meaningfully according to His purpose.
Living a meaningful life is not about worldly success, but it is basically about fulfilling God’s assignment for our generation.
It is leaving a legacy of faith, love, and impact that echoes into eternity.
God has placed greatness within each believer, and meaningful living comes from aligning our lives with His divine will.
It means living intentionally, serving selflessly, and loving sacrificially.
No one was left empty by the maker. We are all endued with divine gifts with mandate to impact the world, as it was in Christ.
Here are three ways believers can live meaningfully and make lasting impact:
1. Seek First the Kingdom of God
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
Prioritize God's purpose over personal ambition.
When you align your daily pursuits with advancing God's Kingdom , through evangelism, discipleship, generosity, and service, you are living a life that matters eternally.
God promises to add all other things you need and to reward you with eternal treasures.
2. Serve Others in Love
"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." - Galatians 5:13 (KJV)
Life is most meaningful when lived for others, not just for self.
True greatness in the Kingdom is measured by how we serve (Mark 10:43-45).
Every act of love, no matter how small, is noticed and rewarded by God (Matthew 10:42).
This comes with great rewards; the joy of seeing lives transformed, eternal rewards from God, and hearing Him say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:21)
3. Walk in God's Purpose for Your Life
"I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do." - John 17:4 (KJV)
Every one is predestined in God for a divine agenda or purpose on the earth. So, discovering and fulfilling God’s unique assignment for your life - whether in ministry, business, education, or any sphere, brings ultimate fulfillment.
Remember that God has called you to bear fruit that remains (John 15:16).
The Bible reminds us that a crown of life awaits those who complete their race faithfully (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
You will experience divine satisfaction and eternal honor.
POINTS OF REFLECTION
1. Are my daily pursuits aligned with God’s eternal purpose?
2. How can I serve and bless more lives around me today?
3. Am I using my gifts and time to build what matters in eternity?
