Scripture Text: “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” — Galatians 3:29 (KJV)
Poverty is not the absence of provision, but the absence of revelation.
In a small village, a young boy discovered a strange, dusty jar hidden in the corner of his grandfather’s attic.
Inside were seeds, ordinary to the eye, yet hundreds of years old. Curious, he planted one of the seeds.
To everyone’s amazement, it grew into a rare and beautiful tree, bearing fruit unlike any ever seen before in the village.
This young boy's discovery teaches us something divine:
what looks small and forgotten carries within it the potential for greatness—when planted and nurtured.
So it is with every believer!
We are seeds of Abraham, and in each of us lies God's divine potential, not dictated by economy, family background, or government - but by covenant.
Seed Identity In Christ
As Abraham's seed through Christ, you carry the same blessing, capacity, and destiny to prosper, to reign, and to bless nations.
Just like a seed does not beg to grow but only requires the right environment, you don't need to beg for success, you only need alignment.
Poverty is not a curse from your village - it’s a curse from ignorance.
We are not victims of society; we are vessels of divinity. Your wealth, wisdom, and impact begin from within, not from without.
It was Bishop David Oyedepo who said,
You are not a seed of chance; you are a seed of covenant.
Abraham’s seed is a carrier of God's glory. But unless the seed is planted, nurtured, and released, its greatness remains hidden.
Let's See 5 Pathways To Manifest Your Seed Potential:
1. Understand Your Identity in Christ
“Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” — Psalm 82:6
Until you know who you are, you can’t become what you’re meant to be. If you are born again, then you have been redeemed and predestined for a glorious life. - (see Romans 8:29)
Identity fuels confidence and destiny.
2. Feed Daily on the Word of God
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” — 1 Peter 2:2
The seed of your destiny grows by the water and light of God’s Word.
You can't manifest potential on a fast-food spiritual diet.
3. Plant Yourself in God’s Purpose
“Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” — Psalm 92:13
Every seed must be planted in purpose to grow. Therefore get rooted in service, obedience, and a life of impact.
4. Pray Until Light Breaks Forth
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things…” — Jeremiah 33:3
Prayer opens your spirit to divine strategies and unlocks dimensions of favor and influence.
5. Walk by Faith, Not by Sight
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Every seed must push through the dirt before it sees sunlight.
Trust God through the dark seasons—growth is happening underground.
POINTS OF REFLECTION
1. Do I truly see myself as Abraham’s seed with divine potential?
2. What beliefs or fears are keeping me from manifesting my true destiny?
3. How am I daily nurturing the seed of greatness God placed within me?
