Scripture Text: “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” – 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV)

I welcome you to another glorious day. Let's look at the topic: GOD WILL SETTLE YOU!

You can vouch to it, that life often times brings challenges and situations that test our patience and faith.

In such trying times, it is easy to feel unsettled, wondering when such trials will end and your restoration happen.

However, the scripture text (1 Peter 5:10) reassures us that our maker and God, in His grace and faithfulness, will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us after we have endured.

Meanwhile, to be "settled" means to be brought into a state of stability, peace, and fulfillment.

This promise comes from the God of all grace, who knows your struggles and has a perfect plan to bring you through.

Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

You need to understand and believe that God sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

No matter what you face in life, is it  suffering? Know it, that it is not without a purpose. God uses trials to refine and prepare us for His glory.

The Bible in James 1:2-4 reminds us “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

Even though this process may be difficult, know that the outcome is worth it, because God will surely bring you to a place of stability and peace.

Know that God's settlement is not basically about physical blessings or solutions to immediate problems.

It is primarily about spiritual stability and a deeper relationship with Him.

Isaiah 26:3 promises, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Beloved! As you wait on God, focus mainly on His presence, promises, and  peace.

No matter how long your trial lasts, always remember that God is faithful to His Word.

He will certainly not leave you where you are but will lift you to a place of joy and restoration.

So, declare now: “God will settle me. My season of struggle will give way to a season of peace and fulfillment, for my God is faithful.”
